As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a commercial real estate location, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and assist visitors and tenants with professionalism and care. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor and manage access control points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or access to the location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related risks and/or threats.
Maintain detailed records of access activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by site protocols.
Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, and visitors to address inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members to support overall security-related operations at the location.
