As a Front Desk Security Professional in a healthcare location, you will be the first point of contact, offering a welcoming presence while assisting with access control and visitor management. You will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points and providing exceptional customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Nice To Haves

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all visitors, staff, and patients at the front desk by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor and manage access control at the entrance, verifying identification and credentials as required for entry into the healthcare location.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents and critical situations, following established protocols and escalating issues as necessary.
• Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior within the facility.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, including communicating with appropriate personnel and assisting with evacuation or lockdown procedures if needed.
• Assist visitors and staff with inquiries and directions, providing information about the facility while upholding security-related guidelines.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual activity, or concerns in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
