As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal at a leading chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, providing a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of employees, contractors, and visitors according to site policies.
Maintain detailed records of all access control activities, including entries, exits, and any security-related incidents.
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and adhering to site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Operate security-related equipment such as access control systems, surveillance cameras, and communication devices as required by the site.
Report any observed irregularities, hazards, or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and client representatives as appropriate.
Assist with implementing evacuation and/or emergency response procedures as directed by site protocols.
