About The Position

As a Security Officer - Perimeter Watch in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

  • Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, government facility policies, and established emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing timely notifications to site leadership and/or public agency partners as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Support access control operations by monitoring entry points, verifying identification and/or authorization, issuing visitor directions, and documenting unusual activity in accordance with site requirements.
  • Complete detailed written reports and logs, document incident details, and use appropriate communication systems to relay information to Allied Universal supervision and/or site contacts.
