Job Description As a Security Officer - Perimeter Patrol in Breinigsville, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas and conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols to help to deter security-related incidents. You will remain highly visible, support access control and perimeter checks, document observations, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the building, loading dock areas, parking lots, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and traffic flow, verify credentials as required, and assist with controlling entry for employees, visitors, and/or drivers in accordance with post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical events, fire alarms, and/or suspicious activity, and notify Allied Universal supervision and/or site contacts as needed.
• Complete detailed reports and logs of patrols, incidents, and/or operational observations, and communicate relevant information to oncoming officers and site leadership.
