Job Description As a Security Officer - Perimeter Patrol in Hazleton, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will greet team members and customers, communicate clearly, and document observations while supporting incident response when needed. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and around the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify irregular conditions.
• Monitor access points and general activity in and around the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, initiating notifications and documentation according to site procedures.
• Complete detailed reports of daily activity, incidents, and/or observations, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
