Job Description As a Security Officer Perimeter Patrol in York, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control, observe operations across yards and dock areas, document findings, and communicate clearly with team members and site contacts. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter fencing; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, contractor, and driver processing by checking identification, issuing badges, and maintaining required logs and reports.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and timely notification to site contacts and/or public responders as directed.
• Observe and report unusual activity, damaged property, and policy violations, and complete accurate documentation in accordance with post orders.
