About The Position

As a Security Officer - Perimeter Patrol in Graniteville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a fast-paced automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will engage with employees and visitors through strong customer service and clear communication, report concerns, and support site operations. Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an automotive facility location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, production and warehouse areas, and perimeter points, with working conditions that may vary by site.
• Control access at designated entry points by checking identification, supporting visitor processing, and helping to maintain orderly flow of vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
• Monitor cameras, doors, and other facility systems as assigned, reporting maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations through the appropriate channels.
