About The Position

As a Security Officer Perimeter Patrol in Fremont, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, production spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, potential hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.
Monitor entry and exit activity, verify access permissions as directed by site protocols, and help support an orderly environment for personnel, guests, and deliveries.
Prepare clear, timely reports on daily activities, incidents, and/or policy concerns, and assist with follow-up actions in alignment with post orders and location expectations.
