As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and provide attentive customer service and clear communication. You will document observations, respond to calls for assistance, and partner with site teams to support daily operations. Requirements

• Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and/or emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to identify unusual activity, unsecured doors, and/or potential hazards.
• Monitor entry points and controlled areas, verify authorization, and document visitor activity in accordance with post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Complete thorough written reports and maintain logs for patrols, access activity, and incidents, and communicate updates during shift turnover.
