As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a renowned cultural institution, you will monitor and patrol galleries and public areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will greet visitors, provide clear directions, and communicate concerns to site leadership with professionalism. Requirements

Customer Service Experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to guests, staff, and/or vendors by following site-specific post orders, access procedures, and other security-related policies within a cultural institution setting.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with emergency response activities and coordinating with site leadership and/or first responders as directed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of galleries, public areas, administrative spaces, loading areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter policy violations and/or unwanted activity.
Monitor for suspicious or unusual activity, conduct security-related observations, and promptly report concerns through required channels while maintaining a professional presence.
Complete detailed reports on incidents, patrol activities, and customer service interactions, and communicate pertinent information during shift transitions.
