Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in Guthrie, KY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, report concerns, and communicate clearly with employees, visitors, and onsite leaders while delivering customer-focused service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to facility personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Control access at vehicle and pedestrian entry points by verifying authorization, directing traffic flow, and documenting deliveries, pickups, and contractor activity per site guidelines.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate contacts and assisting with site response actions as assigned.
• Complete required reports and logs such as patrol activity, incident documentation, and shift communications, and report maintenance concerns like damaged fencing, lighting issues, and/or unsecured doors.
