As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts and responders, and provide customer service that supports daily operations. Requirements

• Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, operational areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and controlled areas, verify credentials as required by site policy, and report unauthorized entry attempts or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with evacuations, access control changes, and coordination with site leadership and/or public responders as directed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations in reports and logs, communicate relevant updates during shift transitions, and support site investigations by preserving information and observations.
