About The Position

As a Security Officer - Patrol in Manchester, NH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy government aviation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a highly visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will observe, document, and communicate concerns with professionalism, while delivering outstanding customer service to visitors and staff. Requirements

  • A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a government aviation environment.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of terminals, public areas, parking facilities, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Control access at designated checkpoints by verifying identification, issuing temporary credentials as required, and directing individuals to the appropriate location in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with local authorities and/or airport operations as directed.
  • Complete routine reports and incident documentation, monitor cameras and/or alarm panels when assigned, and communicate status updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
