Job Description As a Security Officer - Patrol in Clinton, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage production location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to discourage security-related incidents. You will support access control, document activity, and communicate clearly with team members and site personnel. Requirements

• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points, gates, and delivery traffic; check identification, visitor logs, and/or driver documentation per site procedures for a food and beverage location.
• Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation, communicate observations to supervisors, and support security-related inspections of doors, lights, alarms, and/or other site systems per post orders.
