Job Description As a Security Officer - Patrol in Newberry, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy manufacturing and industrial location as an unarmed patrol officer. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps to discourage incidents, and support access control and visitor processing. You will communicate clearly with onsite teams, document observations using a computer and/or tablet, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, teamwork, and a caring, people-first approach. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal and site-specific procedures, including access control, badging, and directing traffic within the industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, yards, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential hazards.
• Monitor and document alarms, CCTV, gates, and other security-related systems; report irregular conditions and/or maintenance concerns per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, fire and/or equipment alarms, and disturbances; coordinate notifications to site leadership and emergency responders as required.
• Complete detailed, timely reports including patrol logs, incident reports, and daily activity reports; maintain clear communication with supervision and site contacts during shift.
