About The Position

As a Security Officer - Hospital Patrol in Clayton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order and support staff, visitors, and patients.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access or activity.
Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or conditions to Allied Universal management and site leadership.
Support emergency preparedness and response efforts as directed by site-specific protocols.
Collaborate with facility staff and local authorities as needed to address incidents or requests for assistance.
