As a Security Officer - Government Grounds Patrol in San Bernardino, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government locations, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, assisting visitors, and providing excellent customer service while upholding our values of reliability, agility, and teamwork. Requirements

MUST HAVE VALID AND CURRENT CA. GUARD CARD & TRAINING CERTIFICATES!
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the government location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the building and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to established protocols.
Communicate clearly with site personnel, visitors, and/or law enforcement as needed to support security-related operations.
Document observations and incidents accurately and in a timely manner as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
