Job Description As a Security Officer - Government Facility Patrol in Texas City, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a prominent government location, you will actively monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and respond to situations as they arise. This driving position allows you to remain highly visible, support a welcoming environment, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements
- A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
- Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related concerns encountered during patrols.
- Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members while on duty.
- Follow all post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management.
- Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly.
- Assist with access control and monitor entry points as needed to help maintain a secure environment.
