Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, lobbies, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and help to verify authorized entry of personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols for a professional technology location.
  • Support daily operations by reporting hazards, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations, and by assisting with directions, escorts, and other customer service needs at the location.
