As an unarmed patrol officer, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security incidents, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and reporting observations through site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, loading and unloading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, verify visitor, vendor, and/or driver entry as directed by site policies, and report access concerns or suspicious activity to site contacts.
- Support the flow of daily operations by observing trailer yards, dock areas, and high-traffic spaces for security-related concerns and communicating issues in a timely manner.
