As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access control as needed. You will communicate clearly with tenants, visitors, and staff, document observations, and respond to routine requests with strong customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and access concerns.
• Monitor access points and respond to alarms, door alerts, and other security-related notifications, documenting observations and escalating issues according to post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing clear directions to occupants and coordinating with property management and/or public responders as needed.
• Complete detailed shift reports and incident documentation, communicate turnover notes, and maintain a visible, professional presence consistent with site expectations.
