About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to reports with calm, clear communication. You will document observations, assist visitors and staff with customer-focused service, and support site procedures with integrity. Requirements

Have 3+ years' combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience OR a college degree.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific policies, access requirements, and/or identification procedures at a government location.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including parking areas and perimeter points, noting unusual conditions that may help to deter unwanted activity.
Monitor entrances, gates, and/or common areas, maintaining a visible presence while observing for security-related concerns.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, and coordinate with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations in reports and logs, and communicate relevant information during shift transitions.
