Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy healthcare location, you will conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible, and help identify and report security-related concerns. You will support patients, visitors, and staff with courteous directions and clear communication, while documenting activity and responding to calls for assistance. Requirements
- Security Experience ‐ 6+ Months.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, suspicious activity, and requests for assistance.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols of buildings, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter spaces to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points and assist with visitor management as assigned, including observing for prohibited items, supporting restricted-area controls, and reporting concerns through the chain of command.
- Complete routine documentation such as incident reports, patrol logs, and shift activity notes, and communicate timely updates to site leadership and/or local public services when directed.
