About The Position

As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol Shift in Clayton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol healthcare locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing excellent customer service. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
CPR or First Aid certification is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment within the healthcare location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access within the healthcare location.
Report and document any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual observations according to Allied Universal and client guidelines.
Collaborate with facility staff and local authorities as needed to support security-related operations and emergency response.
Remain alert and attentive throughout the shift, adapting to changing environments and conditions within the healthcare setting.
