Join Allied Universal at a dynamic commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and security-related policies throughout the location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and/or escalate concerns to site contacts or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor activity throughout the property and report maintenance concerns, suspicious behavior, policy violations, and other security-related issues according to post orders.
  • Support access control and visitor management functions by observing entrances, verifying authorized access when required, and documenting incidents, observations, and daily activity in assigned reports.
