As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support staff and visitors with professional customer service, communicate clearly, and document observations and incidents. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support, documenting observations, and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols of corridors, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards and/or suspicious conditions.
- Monitor and report unauthorized access attempts, loitering, and/or policy violations, and assist with directing individuals to the appropriate check-in areas or departments.
- Complete shift reports and incident documentation, communicate relevant updates during post handoff, and coordinate with site leadership and emergency services as needed.
