About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Sentinel in Corpus Christi, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial environment.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations, actions taken, and relevant details according to site protocols.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization as directed by site procedures, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contact.
Support day-to-day location operations by maintaining a visible presence, communicating professionally with employees, contractors, and visitors, and following Allied Universal standards for reporting and post duties.
