You will support tenants and visitors with professional customer service and clear communication, reporting concerns and assisting with access and site protocols. Requirements

  • Have a minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience.
  • Maintain an active DoD Secret clearance.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card and/or security license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a commercial office environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and reporting concerns through established communication channels.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the building, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and access concerns.
  • Monitor access points during patrols, verify credentials and/or authorizations as required, and assist with visitor direction and general questions in a professional manner.
  • Complete detailed patrol and incident reports, log key activities, and coordinate with property management and/or emergency services when escalation is needed.
