Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will conduct routine patrols and a primarily driving post to help monitor assigned areas and help to deter security-related incidents. You will remain visible, support daily operations with strong communication and customer service, and bring our agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first values to every shift through teamwork and integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to all persons at the location by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the assignment.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or unauthorized access attempts.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization in accordance with location policies, and help support controlled access within a professional environment.
  • Document security-related activities, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns through written reports, logs, and shift pass-down communication.
