Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a busy logistics and distribution location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access points and employee interactions with professional customer service. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts, and respond to situations with calm teamwork and integrity in a culture that is agile, reliable, innovative, and people first.

Requirements

• Have 6+ months of security-related experience.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouses, loading docks, yards, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and check credentials as required, assisting with visitor processing, delivery driver check-in, and directing traffic flow where assigned.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting observations, and coordinating with site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Complete daily activity reports and incident reports, document patrol findings, and communicate relevant updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
