As a Security Officer Patrol Representative in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Required vaccines are needed in accordance with hospital site requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with proof required by the client.
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Meet licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations, which may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out assigned procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards, maintenance issues, or unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, helping to verify authorized entry and/or redirect individuals in accordance with location guidelines and posted requirements.
  • Support a professional environment by assisting with de-escalation, providing directions, and communicating with staff and/or first responders during medical, behavioral, or other emergency situations.
