This role is for a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol Relief Associate in Decatur, GA, where you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Healthcare. The position offers flexibility to build a schedule using the Claim a Shift platform. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service within a healthcare location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and reporting concerns to site leadership when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify maintenance, access, or environmental concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas while assisting patients, visitors, and staff with directions, access questions, and other security-related support needs.
  • Observe and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior while supporting a professional atmosphere within the location.
