As a Front Desk Officer at a busy retail and mall location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact, helping manage access, greet guests, and support a positive customer experience. You will monitor activity from the desk, respond to questions and concerns, and communicate clearly with onsite teams while documenting incidents as needed. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail or mall location.
  • Control access by greeting and screening visitors, issuing visitor credentials, directing deliveries to designated areas, and maintaining sign-in and/or sign-out logs.
  • Monitor cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems from the front desk and report irregular activity according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with on-site management and contacting emergency services when needed.
  • Complete shift reports and incident documentation, communicate relevant updates during post handoff, and assist with customer questions and wayfinding as needed.
