As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a premier commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, support access control and/or visitor directions, and communicate clearly with tenants, guests, and site staff. Requirements

• Have at least 6 months of security experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, corridors, loading areas, garages, stairwells, and exterior perimeters to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or access concerns.
• Monitor access points and common areas, verify credentials as required, and assist with visitor management and/or contractor check-in in accordance with post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disturbances, medical calls, and/or property-related issues, and request additional resources when needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations in required logs and reports, and communicate timely updates to property management and/or Allied Universal supervision.
