Requirements

  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies at a dynamic technology location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the location, including interior work areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter zones, to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
  • Monitor entrances, badge activity, deliveries, and/or visitor movement in accordance with post orders, helping to support authorized access and reporting discrepancies through proper channels.
  • Assist with emergency response activities, evacuation support, and/or incident follow-up while maintaining detailed reports, logs, and other required documentation related to security-related matters.
