About The Position
As a Security Officer - Patrol Manufacturing Site in Fairfield, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a manufacturing and industrial location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for personnel and property.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Observe and report any unusual activity or conditions encountered during patrols and communicate findings to appropriate personnel.
- Assist with access control procedures, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises as required by site policies.
- Support Allied Universal and client staff by maintaining a visible presence and offering assistance as needed during routine operations and/or emergency situations.
- Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
