Requirements

  • Must have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience or 2 or more years of security-related supervisor or manager experience or 5 or more years of security-related experience.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Must meet a minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute.
  • Must be 21 or more years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and follow post orders related to restricted areas, materials handling, and other location-specific protocols.
  • Support Allied Universal standards by maintaining a professional presence, following assigned post responsibilities, and reporting hazards, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
