About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Inspector in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures and access-related policies at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and public areas, verify credentials when required, and report unusual behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations according to post instructions.
  • Support emergency response activities by following site protocols, assisting with evacuations or restricted access procedures, and providing clear information to supervisors and/or public officials.
