About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Inspector in Millington, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to all visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries, verify credentials and documentation as required by site policies, and report discrepancies or policy violations.
Document routine activities, incidents, and/or observations in required reports, logs, and systems, and support order and workflow within a fast-paced logistics environment.
