About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Field Associate in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Billingual in English and Spanish
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access activity support, and appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or delivery information, and support visitor, vehicle, and trailer access processes in accordance with site policies.
• Observe site operations and conditions, report hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations, and assist with security-related procedures during shift activities.
