Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• This is primarily a driving post.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with property management and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance, access control, and other property-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas to help to deter trespassing, loitering, and/or policy violations while providing courteous assistance with directions, access questions, and general information.
• Prepare accurate reports on daily activities, incidents, and observations, and support Allied Universal site protocols for reporting, shift turnover, and client service expectations.
