Security Officer Full Time Patrol Duty

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Duty in Breinigsville, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Logistics & Distribution. This role involves working as an unarmed patrol officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining visibility to deter security-related incidents. You will support daily operations through strong communication, customer service, and a people-first approach, embodying agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity on every shift.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, yard, parking areas, trailer locations, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, and/or delivery traffic, verifying authorized access and following post orders for screening, logging, and incident reporting.
- Support day-to-day operations at a busy logistics location by observing loading and unloading areas, checking for security-related issues, and reporting maintenance, hazard, and/or policy concerns to the appropriate contact.
