As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence that may help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts, and deliver customer service with integrity. This is a driving post, requiring a valid drivers license that meets Allied Universal driver policy requirements, supporting agile teamwork and reliable response.

Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, post orders, and emergency response activities at an industrial chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, tank farms, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter lines to help to identify unusual conditions, hazards, and/or unauthorized activity.
  • Control access at gates and designated entry points by verifying identification and/or credentials, managing visitor check-in, and coordinating with onsite personnel regarding deliveries and contractor access.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, assisting with site response protocols, and documenting actions taken.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and/or access control systems as assigned, and complete detailed written reports, incident logs, and shift turnover notes according to Allied Universal and site requirements.
