Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic tech/media/telecom location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.
Monitor entrances, badge checkpoints, and other restricted areas while following post orders and visitor procedures to help to support authorized access and site operations.
Document incidents, patrol activity, and/or maintenance or security-related issues with clear, accurate reports and relay important information during shift changes.
