Security Officer - Patrol Driver - Full Time
About The Position
As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver - Full Time in Salinas, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout an auto center location. This role involves driving responsibilities, where you will remain visible, monitor assigned areas, and interact with visitors and staff to provide outstanding customer service. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the auto center, including the business premises and surrounding perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
- Document and report any suspicious activity or maintenance issues observed during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and maintaining awareness of individuals on the property.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding site activities or incidents.
- Support the enforcement of site-specific policies and procedures to help to deter disruptions or unauthorized behavior.
