As a Patrol Officer in a retail environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the location by vehicle while providing exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

MUST HAVE VALID AND CURRENT CA. GUARD CARD & TRAINING CERTIFICATES!
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess a Guard Card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report security-related incidents or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as required by site-specific policies.
Work collaboratively with store staff and visitors to promote a welcoming atmosphere while maintaining security-related awareness.
Document and communicate any incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
