As a Security Officer - Real Estate Patrol Driver in Newport Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate locations, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. This driving post involves conducting routine patrols throughout the property, offering exceptional customer service and communication to tenants and visitors. Requirements
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the office property and surrounding areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible security-related presence.
- Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
- Communicate with property management, tenants, and visitors to address questions, provide directions, and relay security-related information.
- Support access control procedures by verifying identification and assisting with visitor management as needed.
