About The Position

As a Security Officer - Mall Patrol Driver in Sturtevant, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a retail or mall location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with visitors and staff, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a welcoming environment for visitors and staff.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and/or managing visitor flow as needed.
Support emergency response efforts according to site protocols, including assisting with evacuations or other urgent situations.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned location to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to employees and patrons.
