As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a retail distribution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. This driving post requires a valid driver's license, as you will be responsible for conducting mobile patrols. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity or suspicious behavior.
Observe and report incidents or unusual conditions to appropriate personnel and/or law enforcement as required.
Assist with access control and verify identification of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted activities within the retail environment.
Complete required reports and logs in a timely and accurate manner as directed by Allied Universal and site management.
